Brent Fuller, songwriter/musician/performer. I Have 23yrs.experience in the field. I write and record my own original material. This is my new album, titled: Breaking the Barriers! I did a few covers on it too, not that I wanted to, but was advised to do so. It has a variety of genres on it from heavy metal instrumentals, southern rock ballads, to bluesy hard rock tunes. My influences include: Ted nugent,Joe Satriani, Ace Frehely, Jimi Hindrix, and many more. I have grown tired of the club circuit and playing everyone's music but my own! So I have set out to get my foot in the door with a band that is signed or someone who is as serious as I am about this business. I know that there is somebody out there needing a lead guitar player that would be dedicated to the cause. I have a friend and associate who has helped me greatly through the years,his name is Neal Dover, who was an original member of the Classics4 in '68 & 69, He is doing the vocals on one song on this album: Diving Duck. He was just recently inducted into the georgia hall of fame. I played with the remnants of Lynyrd Skynyrd in the summer of 82 and hooked up with Ronnie Van Zant's nephew, 'Lil' Ronnie Morris. His older brother played drums for Johhny Van Zant, before he joined Skynyrd for the reunion in 91. His name is Robbie Morris. We played the club circuit on the beaches in Jacksonville, Fla, with his band called: Eclipse. Tired of playing clubs, I moved back to north Alabama and married. I decided to pursue my original material and have been recording it for 18 years now. I have many more songs. I do feel that the club circuit did help me in several ways. One, was the variety of music we had to play, and two the perfoming on stage. I have felt like giving up many times but, people keep telling me to never quit trying, and I WILL NEVER QUIT! The album is out and on cd, titled Breaking the Barriers. A collection of guitar rockin',ball busting, sonic breaking sounds, and some experimental instrumentals as well. From blues to metal and ballads in between, it has it all!
